Our mission is to provide NTS training for competitive recurve and compound archers, ages 12 and up, with a focus on the individual while building on team cohesion for competition.

Who should apply?

CAP is a dedicate competitive training program. The CAP archer not only wants to compete and win but also places an intrinsic with their archery. They are able to shoot daily rather than on a weekly basis. They are a self starter and should not have to be told to practice. They are excited about change and how that will make them better in the long run.

All CAP archers must agree to the follow:
Sign letter of commitment with their parents (if under 18 years old).
Be able to shoot the entry MQS by September of 2014.1
Able to train 6 days a week.
Compete in tournaments on a local, state and national level.
Have their own competition equipment.

There will only be a maximum of 18 archers in CAP. Preference will be given to those archers between 12 to 15 years old.

Private lessons will be the focus of the program. Each archer will have up to 2 private lessons per month included in the monthly fee. There will be 3 days a week you can schedule a private lesson with Coach Alex.
Additional private lessons will be $75 per hour.

Each Saturday we will have a group lesson to work on team, competition, and mental aspects of archery. At the end of each month we will have a Monthly Tournament of 60-72 arrows during our group class. Every two months we will have an evaluation of the CAP archers progress.

There will be a flat fee of $150 per month.2
24/7 Access to the outdoor field and indoor range during open hours.
Up to two private lessons a month with Coach Alex.3
Weekly Group Classes
At the end of each month we will have a Monthly Tournament during the group class.

We recognize there are some parents that wish to shoot with their child which is why we offer the CAP Affiliate program for $75 a month. The CAP affiliate will be able to use the facilities with their child who is a CAP Member but will not receive any coaching and not be subject evaluations. CAP Affiliates will also have to provide their own equipment. CAP Affiliates are also not subject to evaluations.

Evaluations are done bimonthly. This will consist of but not limited to:

Attendance for group classes
Private Lessons
Being able to adopt form changes
Mental fortitude
Log Submissions

Attending less than 50% of group classes for one month.
Unable to attend the end of month tournament.4
No private lessons for one month.
Unable or unwilling to make any changes to their shot process.
Logs not turned in for one month.

Dismissal will occur if the CAP Member does not show significant signs of improvement by the next bimonthly evaluation.

Once dismissal is determined the archer and parents will be notified via email.

1 Tournament is qualified as any USA Archery sanctioned event or during CAP Monthly Tournaments, or CAP Outdoor Series by September of 2014.
2 If an archer attends all the group classes or just one it is still the same flat fee. This is designed to create a greater incentive for the competitive archers to take full advantage of the program.
3 Each CAP member is guaranteed at least one private lesson per month. Using the second lesson is dependant of the archers commitment to change. Private lessons do not roll over from month to month.
4 There will be exceptions made in the case of injury or illness at the discretion of Coach Alex.
